We have grown extensively over the past few years and learnt what is important to our customers.

get a quote and buy a policy online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you may even print off your
own certificate.
We have learnt the real value of customer service in an online world. In our experience, people
enjoy the freedom of buying online but often prefer to speak to a real person when they need to
make a claim, or a change to their policy. We employ a dedicated team of friendly advisers to look
after our customers’ needs - who are available 7 days a week.
In 2003, 1.75 million car insurance quotes were completed through its4me and this figure rose to
approximately 2.25 million completed quotes in 2004. A key part of our growth is to explore
new ways of working with our sister company, Swinton. Patrick Smith – founder of Norwich Union Direct -
is now Chief Executive of both its4me and Swinton, and sees great advantages in bringing the two
companies’ expertise together.
